FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their new rules for Disclosure Compliance.

These rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media are aware if the blogger or publisher is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. The readers need to know if the content publisher is making money by sharing a link or product.

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on this site:

Any/all of the links on vehiclecheckcanada are affiliate links for which I receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.

What about sponsored content?

We never write sponsored posts. We want to provide authentic, un-biased information. vehiclecheckcanada specializes in accessing critical data for car dealers and consumers involved in the purchase of used automobiles. Our vehicle history service provides real-time Vehicle History Reports that include Title and Brand data as well as theft and lien information. Through its 3rd party partnership, vehiclecheckcanada provides vehicle history check for automobiles, motorcycles, recreational vehicles (RV’s) and pre 1981 classic cars.

  1. Your responsibilities and registration obligations

In order to use this web site or certain parts of it, you may be required to register for a user account on this web site; in this case, you agree to provide truthful information when requested, and — if a minimum age is required for eligibility for a user account — you undertake that you are at least the required age. We do not allow you to make any kind of alterations or publish, showcase and take part in the transfer or sale, rent, act as some brokers, or grant/revoke access to any third party, and you are not permitted to exploit these reports in any way that could violate the terms and conditions listed in this agreement. The user understands that we do not allow anyone to copy, redistribute, publish, retransmit or use these reports for any commercial purposes. The download of any material from our website without getting written permission from vehiclecheckcanada is not allowed.
